HIV Peer Worker Certification Program

The National Native HIV Network, in partnership with New York State Department of Health AIDS Institute and Indian Health Service, is recruiting non-physician health and human services professionals delivering HIV prevention, testing, care, and support in tribal communities for a HIV Peer Worker Certification Program.

This 45-hour curriculum, featuring in-person and virtual sessions, aims to enhance peer-to-peer education and HIV resources for American Indian, Alaska Native, and Native Hawaiian communities. Participants can earn CE credits through a tribal college and may be eligible to receive travel support to a national conference.
