Technical Assistance Center

The National Native HIV Network Technical Assistance Center (NNHN-TAC) will work with a network of providers to implement training and capacity building assistance for High-Impact HIV Prevention Programs to Native American, Alaska Native, Native Hawaiian, and other Pacific Islanders, Native-serving organizations, urban Indian organizations, health departments, and other community-based organizations across the country and U.S. Territories.

Capacity Building Assistance services include:

Training on CDC-approved evidence-based interventions

The training and technical assistance will encompass areas that will support the structural implementation of the effective interventions to diagnose, treat, prevent, and respond.

HIV program development, implementation, and evaluation

NNHN-TAC will provide training and technical assistance to address challenges related to the planning, implementation, and evaluation of HIV prevention programs.

Convene up to four Community of Practice initiatives

The NNHN-TAC will establish and conduct a recurring virtual community of practice (CoP) with CDC directly and indirectly funded programs and their local partners to share knowledge, best practices, and resources to improve HIV prevention and care inequities among Native people.

Host an annual community-based organization regional summit

The NNHN-TAC will plan and implement a CBO Summit annually for CDC directly and indirectly funded CBOs with a focus on AI/AN populations.
