Live with Leadership: People, Place, Policy, & Science Matter
On Wednesday, December 8, the conversation, Live with Leadership: People, Place, Policy, & Science Matter, will take place. The conversation will focus on the need to take a comprehensive approach that acknowledges the role syndemics such as viral hepatitis, STIs, mental health, and substance use play in the HIV epidemic. The conversation will feature:
- Dr. Jonathan Mermin, Director of the National Center for HIV, Viral Hepatitis, STD, and TB Prevention at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
- Dr. Laura Cheever, Associate Administrator for the HIV/AIDS Bureau at the Health Resources & Services Administration.
Guillermo Chacón, President of the Latino Commission on AIDS and a new member of the Presidential Advisory Council on HIV/AIDS (PACHA), will moderate the conversation.
