Ending the HIV Epidemic Training Series for American Indian/Alaska Native HIV Service Providers

The Community Health Education & Resiliency Program (CHERP) is partnering with the National HIV Classroom Learning Center (NHCLC) at CAI to host the Ending the HIV Epidemic Training Series for Native HIV Service Providers in Denver, Colorado. This training series is open to health professionals (i.e. Health Educators, Community Health Workers, Prevention Specialists, Health Technicians, Case Managers, Patient Navigators, etc.) working with Native communities addressing HIV prevention and care services. This training series will feature four CDC-approved HIV evidence-base interventions running concurrently through the week.

Trainings offered during the week include:

  • Implementing Cultural Competency and Cultural Humility in the HIV Workforce – May 6-7, 2024
  • Fundamentals of Motivational Interviewing for HIV – May 6-7, 2024
  • HIV Navigation Services Steps-to-Care – May 8-10, 2024
  • Sister to Sister: Take Control of Your Health – May 8-9, 2024
