Creating Connections: Virtual Health Fair

Hope, Help and Strength. 

Connecting people across Alaska to raise awareness of resources and share messages to strengthen our communities in preventing Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs), substance misuse, and suicide.

Join virtual presentations and visit resource booths to gather information from prevention programs around the state and connect with others. Join a session that works with your schedule or visit the resource booths at a time that’s convenient for you.

Event sessions will include:
– Traditional Teachings
– Storytelling sessions/personal stories
– 30-minute Mindfulness Activity
– The intersection of ACEs, substance misuse, and suicide
– Creating Connections Nutrition and You
– ANTHC Behavioral Health Wellness Clinic
– Harm Reduction 101
– Narcan Training 

Win prizes by participating in a session, visiting resource booths, engaging in polls or the community discussion board. Prizes include Bluetooth earbuds, a Fit Bit, $100 gift cards, and more!

Resource booths will include ANTHC’s Behavioral Health and Wellness and Prevention programs and the new ANTHC Behavioral Health Wellness Clinic, Alaska Children’s Trust, Alaska Native Justice Center, Aleutian Pribilof Island Association, CITC Family Support Programs, Fairbanks Native Association, iknowmine.org, Project HOPE, HealthyNativeYouth.org and more!
